All Types And Kinds Of Tanks

Generally, Tanks cleaning on the ship is done during dry dock and whenever the inspection of the tanks is due. Cleaning is done for surveyor inspection or if there is any work to be done inside the tanks such as crack, leaking steam lines etc. For cleaning a tank various safety precautions are to be considered as it contains flammable gases and oil inside it.
This involves the dumping of the existing solid waste and liquid waste, entering the tank and sweeping out of the remaining solids or liquids followed by tank washing. Tanks generally need to be cleaned when the brine in the tank is contaminated or at the end of a work over operation when tanks need to be cleaned for next well operation.
